  • Professional Councils
    • Each of our Professional Communities is governed by a Professional Council which oversees Education, Professional Ethics and Standards. The Councils are democratically elected, by members. For more information click here.
  • Branches
    • The Institute maintains a network of 19 Branches throughout New Zealand. Branches undertake Education, Events and regular networking activities and are also responsible for professional advancement of members. Click here to find the Branch nearest to you.
  • Professional Compliance (PPC and Standards)
    • Members of the Property Institute of New Zealand follow a clear Code of Ethics relative to the services that they provide. Compliance with these Ethics is governed by a Joint Professional Practices Committee. For more information click here.

  • Webinars and Seminars

  • Regional Property Networks
    • The Institute operates a Property Network in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and will soon be expanding these to other parts of New Zealand. Property Network Meetings are free to Institute Members and usually feature top quality Speakers on topics relating to Property Economics and the Property Market.   • Annual Conferences
    • Each year the Institute holds an Annual Conference for members and features Education, Networking and Entertainment. This year the Conference is being held in Queenstown. For more information click here.

  • Awards
    • The PINZ annual conference attracts hundreds of property professionals over three-days and includes a black-tie awards ceremony honouring the industry’s best.
      PINZ also offers a range of post nominals and registration for senior members who are high achievers in their field.  They allow the public to easily identify them as experienced, trusted property practitioners who maintain high standards, and follow a proven ethical code of conduct.  For more Infomation please click here
  • Registration and Professional Advancement
    • Professional Registration and advancement is available to all members of the Institute – regardless of profession. The rules and criteria differ from profession to profession.

  • NZ Property Professional Magazine
    • Property Professional is a quarterly magazine that is delivered free-of-charge to members of the Property Institute.
      It tackles a broad array of topical, relevant and timely subjects, includes technical information, and profiles property professionals at all stages of their careers. 
  • CEO Newsletter
    • The Property Institute of New Zealand publishes a fortnightly newsletter which goes to all members.  It features all the latest news from PINZ, as well as other items of interest relevant to professionals working in a range of property-related fields.

  • PropertyJobs
    • PropertyJobs is a recruitment service for property professionals provided by the Property Institute.
      Every week, more than 5,100 property professionals receive an email update informing them of new job listings, while hundreds more view the jobs listed on our website.
      It's the most effective way for employers to find a property professional in New Zealand, or for job-seekers to find a job in the property industry.
      An ad will typically run for four weeks, but can be removed from listings earlier if required. Click here for details.
  • Advocacy
    • The Property Institute of New Zealand is one of the highest profile organisations representing property professionals in the country.
      It is regularly invited to contribute to news and current affairs programmes, and works with like-minded
      bodies both domestically and internationally to advance members’ interests.
      We are active in our work lobbying central and local Government when decisions are made that affect
      property professionals.
      We are a voice for those in the industry who may not neatly fit into other property groups because of the diverse range of work they do.
  • Discounts and Benefits
    • Members enjoy discounted events and education (CPD) and this year PINZ expects to be rolling out a health and wellness portal which will offer members savings on a range of goods and services.

    • The Property Institute runs regular overseas study tours to locations of interest around the globe.  These tours feature learning and networking opportunities, and feature site tours and briefings from property professionals working in the communities and cities that we visit.
